IPPAG members together in Canton and Hong Kong:
The IPPAG Cooperative and its members once again took the opportunities of the Canton and Hong Kong Gifts and Premiums fairs to hold a series of meetings in coordination with these events.
Matters started off in Canton with IPPAG's Partner supplier banquet: which bring members and long-term Far East suppliers together. The evening focuses on the development and strengthening of these member / supplier relationships, highlighting our shared CSR focus, and giving suppliers an opportunity to showcase their latest products and ideas.
Further events were held in the following days:
- with IPPAG's annual general assembly and general managers meeting.
IPPAG Cooperative Board members are confirmed as Mr Tomas Kaderka (IMI, Czech Republic), Mr Greg Banks (Prime Source, New Zealand) and new 'Chairman elect' Mr Thibaut Fontaine (mcs Kick&Rush, Belgium) who will be taking over from current Chairman, Mr Soeren Langhoff (Langhoff AS, Denmark) in a years time.
- IPPAG Global Promotions (www.ippag-global-promotions.com) service partner meeting: with info on current global client contracts, and an update concerning the exciting client projects that are currently in the pipeline
- IPPAG Cooperative brainstorming meeting: with two topics: collaboration and joint purchasing projects for the groups wholesale members / and sales team organisation and management: sharing of best practices
- Products meeting (in collaboration with the HKTDC): with members showing the most exciting and inspiring new ideas from the fair.
And finally, with 'business' put to a side: the members enjoyed the traditional official IPPAG dinner in a spectacular setting with a rooftop view of Hong Kong, and the company of their selected Partner supplier guests. The annual 'best case story' award went to Dutch member Compacon who once again demonstrated their outstanding creative expertise.
